17.07.09 Mt Everest Base Camp & Lao Tingri

In the morning the Land Cruisers took us four kilometers from the Base Camp, from where we walked to the Base Camp. And in 5000 meters, that was a pretty hard walk, but we made it and the view was amazing. We saw the Mt Everest without any clouds. After sitting around there for a while, it was time to start walking back.

The roads to the last place on the Tibetan side was very very bad and all off road. In the end we reached the Lao Tingri, the last town we were going to sleep in Tibet. After dinner, we went for few hours of sleep, because we were going to start driving towards the Nepali boarder at 3am.
