Roger had also given up waiting for Mao and he had gone to a museum and after that back to the hotel. So, we went to the hotel to drop of things and went for lunch. After lunch we walked around the Hutongs (tiny old houses and alleyways) and Behai Park, which is close to the Forbidden City. The park was huge and there was a Tibetan style building on top of a hill that was in the centre of the park. The park was really nice, but in Spring or Summer when everything is blooming it will probably be even better. So, I'll might have to come back later.

03.02.09 Shopping and a park
In the morning we meant to go see Mao's mausoleum, but when we got to the Tian'anmen Square there were tons and tons of people waiting in a line that had no beginning or end. So, we decided to go shopping with Fiona and Roger went to wait for Mao. We found some good, cheap shops where you were able to bargain and I got few things, like a warm shirt with 60RMB, first suggested price was 160RMB. 60RMB should be about 6 euros, but now that the value has changed it's about 7,5 euros.
